I have a toshiba mk5059gsxp HDD2J53 A SL01 T, My problem is it has been locked with a password and I am unable to retreive password and cannot find the exact HDD to replace it. Does anyone know which hdd will work for me?

What do you mean by "cannot find the exact HDD to replace it"?

If you mean a new HDD to fit into your laptop, then virtually any 2.5" SATA drive should do it.

Does the "A" SL01 "T" make a difference?
