How Do You Open a HP 3.5" External Personal Media Drive

Can't seem to crack this one open. Both ends do come away from the cover slightly, but cannot get to any clips. The top surface seems shut tight. Anyone had experience with these?

For any future searcher on this topic.... Both ends are screwed into the cover internally so cannot be removed. The plastic cover (not the metal cover with the HP Logo) is attached with 4 clips. These are so far inside the cover they cannot be reached, so prying the plastic cover away from the center does get the job done with little/no damage.
