about new function to mhdd!

Hi,maysoft:
Thank you for your goog software Mhdd,I'am using it long time ago!
It can read sectors to a file and write sectors from a file to drive,but in the datarecovery,I need a function that copy data to other drive sector by sector that I wanted,would you add this funtion?

This has been asked every month or so. Everybody wants that. But MHDD is "too free" to be able to do this.

You can try RecoverSoft Inc.'s MediaTool. It has funtion of cloning the HD sector by sector. Also, it has the function of making the heads reading forward and backward(reverse) option. Kind of amazing that some sectors does be readable by reverse option

my question.. does REMAP means "try to make the sector record (0 or 1) readable again --- save back the data???"
my problem.. Does it mean that I will not longer to use MHDD if the G-list is full ???

Remapping will zero the sector content.
If a G-List is full, there is no need to use MHDD. Have to figure out the REAL problem and get rid of it. In other words, disk with full G-List must be tossed (or repaired properly if you know how).

I'm very sadly,this is a good function for datarecovery,because I know mhdd well,it's convenient use only one software to do the same work.I had looked for your email address several month ago,I can pay a reasonable fee for this function.

Hi Jason,
If somebody wants to do datarecovery, it is the least thing he can do to write a simple cloning program. Without basic programming skills one cannot get far in this branch of science. There are so many things to do that no single sw will ever support I believe.
So if U study ata commands, U can put together a simple cloning utility in days.
I agree MHDD is too free and thank MaySoft for this great free piece of code!
Maybe some day I will get to the point to donate the programmer
