December 9th, 2014, 9:05

I have a few of questions was wondering if any1 cud guide me. I have a re-certified 1TB drive (WD10EARS) I'd like to know:

a) Will replacing a head work on a re-certified drive (If yes & i hope it's yes then..)
b) can i use a 2 TB WD (WD20EARS) as a donor? (If no..then)
c) is there anywhere i can buy the head

Thanks in advance

I dont want to sound offensive or rude, but judging by the nature of your questions, you're not qualified to do a head swap.
You need experience, knowledge and tools. You don't seem to have any of the three.

I'm just hoping this is not a client's drive.

It is possible to swap heads on a recertified drive, yes, but since you're missing knowledge experience and know-how, it is VERY unlikely to have success.
