CBL locker virus

January 21st, 2015, 10:01

Hi,

Does someone know what is a CBL locker virus? I cannot find nothing about it but the customer says he got it over the internet and all the files were encrypted with the extension .vgpxpsl.

Never heard of it.
The only CBL I know is the blackhole for spammer emails (ie. a good thing).

Does it ask for ransom? If so, then it's a variant of cryptolocker/ransomware.

There is also the data recovery lab, CBL.
