WD Scorpio Black WD2500BEKT - password

January 23rd, 2015, 9:59

Hello

I'm considering buying WD Scorpio Black WD2500BEKT. I would like to use it as an Xbox 360 drive - I've checked it looks compatible.
I found one disk - there is information that it's 100 % OK - BUT there is a password on it.
Now here comes the question - I'm total noob to such things - so - I don't care about data on that disk, I want to remove all partitions, format it, prepare for Xbox and that's all - so will removing that password can cause any problems ?

if i understand you correctly
you have HDD password protected
how can you Format HDD without unlock it ???

remove password is very easy thing
you can remove it directly from SA
or you can remove it by Edit Config in RAM then remove password
or you can use any repair software that can clear password for you

if you have any problem i can do that for you online
