PCB number is correct for the drive. 771820 is a very common board, you dont have another like it?

According to the R/N, the PCB should be 1692.
But I have seen different RN and PCB number also. So, little bit confused if it's original or not...
You have 2 options:
Ask client (mostly client lies or can't tell correctly)
Or depend on 2 boards.. 1692 and 1820

This supplier suggests that the PCB could be original:
http://www.onepcbsolution.com/wd5000bpv ... rev-a.htmlThe date codes on the PCB all precede the date of manufacture on the label:
2211 (on PCB component side)
1122 (SDRAM)
1117 (MCU)

PCB is original. I had similar cases like this before. But according to the damage I think that Pre-amp is gone too.
Good luck
