toshiba MQ01UBD050 EXTERNAL hdd stuck spindle

Hi, am amazed at how knowledgeable guys on this forum are. This like a land mine for genious please help mi with my, well to you its a little problem.. in my world its major.

My TOSHIBA MQ01UBD050 external hard disk seems to have a fault. Suddenly, I cannot access it when I plug it in the laptop. but when I go around to the disk management am able to see it but cannot get anything on it. I really need to access the data on it even more so have it functioning properly.
From the information I've gathered from technicians and online, my hard drive has a stuck spindle. It makes the exact sound as listed on this website: http://datacent.com/hard_drive_sounds.php ( Toshiba laptop hard drive with stuck spindle trying to spin up(heard if taken close to your ear).

The data is important really important to me and here we do not have any serious professionals. These guys here in Uganda-kampala are just in for the money and they guarantee you not get any information at the end of the recovery process. Can I do this on my own and how to save the disk? I also need to recovery the information can I use an online software?

Thanx guys.

We deal with clients all over the world, shipping is no problem.

Can't say we've specifically dealt with clients in Uganda, but certainly have from Kenya, Zambia, Nigeria and South Africa :-)
