Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello. My name is Dawid and I'm from Poland.
I'm looking for a Samsung hard drive to recover my files. In my Samsung the main head just dead. After this, I can recover only ~3/4 of my files. To recover all files I need to replace first head. I'm looking for a disk with specs like on the photo in annex. Do you know where I can get this?

This details are not enough. This family uses four types of preamp and some of them are not compatible each to other.

Post the P/N number of the drive. It's under the lowest EAN code.
I use the middle four characters of P/N number for HSA donor match. The manufacturing date and model number is important too.
For HSA exchange you need proper tools, clean room, and much practice! Without these your success rate is under zero.

Actually you don't have to match all 4 of them.

Ok, but I will not do this. It will be done by the data recovery company... I have to only find a disk. Can anyone help to me and give me some pages that offers a disk for a recovery?

was manufactured more than a year later from the OP drives
IMHO it's a very long time to match this kind of drives
(although there could be surprises, but i doubt that such surprises happens on ST drives, (you never know until you try))
