Shouldn't the number of heads be 2, and doesn't the checksum error indicate a problem with ROM module 0A?

The 32-bit checksum of the entire module is 0x00000000.

The number of heads is 02 (offsets 21h/22h).

The head map is 03h (offsets 3Eh/40h).

The sum of bytes 1Eh - 3Bh is 0x0A50. If we now add the checksum word at offset 3Ah we have ...

0x0A50 + 0xF5B0 = 0x10000

In short, I can't see anything wrong with the module.

IN NORMAL MODE

No utility in the normal mode, and the HDD.
With ROM all good.
Requires compatible load modules 5C and 11.
Then, the ROM will be read properly.

SIR I HAVE SAME PROBLEM.AFTER CHANGING DIR ADDRESS I CAN ACCESS SA.I CHECK ALL MODS.I FIND 2D,2E,12D,12E,22D,22E ARE SHOWING PROBLEM IN BOTH COPY.I REWRITE MOD FROM GOOD COPY.ONLY MOD 22E IS GIVEN HEADER ERR.THAN AGAIN CHANGING DIR MOD ADD TO ORIGINAL STATUS DRIVE BECOMES SAME STATUS.MOD 30 ERR AND HEADMAP CHECKSUM ERR.IF I DIRECTLY START UTILITY IT SHOWS ONLY ERR LED RED.THAN BY SELCTING FA,ILY DRIVE GIVES.
