Hello,
Does anyone has videos for platter swapping?
I have a Seagate with motor stucked and the only way to recover data is with a platter swap.
Thanks

It's not easy to pull off with Seagates, not successfully anyway. I've even gone as far as changing the motor bearing using a high press rather than platter swapping.

If that's a client's drive, I don't think it's a good idea to start with it.
Better outsource this recovery and practice on second-hand drives first.
Not much details about the job, but I believe we should be able to help if necessary.
