Tressels head compatibility

September 18th, 2015, 6:23

Hello everyone, i'm struggling with a WD10EZEX-22RKKA0 which has weak/bad heads, modules and tracks are read without problem and they are ok, i can access user data but read quite bad through the whole drive, heads are clean no signs of crash or media damage.
I got two different donors with the same preamp and compatible microjogs and i am not able to make it work, the patient spins down using the donor heads from the two different drives, the heads of the donors are both working back without problem, DCM are a match aswell, perhaps there must be done some sort of modification that i'm missing, can anyone point me out in the right direction?
