while imaging , something wrong is obvious , drive images like 1000-1500 LBAs then power-reset as it will stuck and ddi will initiate this command ..

heads test fine ..

i cleared alt-list , and smart , and reconstructed the translator , same behaviour :(

could be platter damage ?

i would say weak heads, can you show us the resistance of both heads ?

Hi again ,

nop , heads resistance is extremly fine , i have seen more resistance value on the same family , with no reading/writing problems ..

seems like some list is overloaded , and causing this kind of slowliness , what do you think ?

i still vote for weak head/s.
did you try selective head imaging and see which head can read fine throughout the surface. i can tell you from my experience on the same drive where both head test was fine even both heads can read fine from start LBA but after a certain LBA head 1 did't read well.
after head swap i was able to image the drive 100%. :)

I had one last week that cloned fine up to about 71% then really really struggled, new heads and bingo! Imaged 99.9% :-)
