Hello, first of all please excuse my English. I have a Sony laptop that I change the HDD for a SSD and everything work OK but now I cant read the information in the original HDD using an external case. I use 4 different cases but with no results. The HDD appears in Disk management but nothing more, I also try to boot from the original HDD using the external cases and try to read the information with 3 other laptops that I have including 1 with linux but with no results. I don't want to open the Sony laptop again and install the original HDD to take out some information. Any help appreciated.
Thanks in advance
EJS

Is it password protected? Do tools such as CrystalDiskInfo or HD Sentinel report the drive's security status? Can you see sector 0 with a disc editor, eg DMDE (freeware)?
