ROM Extraction - Samsung HD322HJ 320GB + PCB No BF41-00178B

Hello Everyone ,
Today i Got a Drive From a Student Who Does Not Like To Spend Much On Recovery .The Concerned Drive is The Samsung 3.5" SATA 320GB Model No HD322HJ .The Picture Of The Drive Is Attached To Post .

The Customer [Aka Student ] Told Me That He Had Given The Drive To a Computer Shop Where he Gets The Computer Fixed And They Said That The PCB Is Toast And It Needs Replacement .The PCB Is Given Below As a Picture .

Issue :I Inspected The 2 TVS Diodes Both Seemed Ok On Testing .The ZERO Ohm Resistor Providing Power Close To The TVS DIODES Were Missing [ Installed It From a Old Scrap PCB ] .Upon Power Up I Noted The Following

1 : Motor Controller SH6125B Does Get Very Hot [ Possibly a Direct Short Inside This ]
2 : The Main Controller Does Not Heat Up Like a Shorted Electronic Component .

I Want To Extract The Embedded ROM From The Marvell MCU .When i Did Not Have PC 3000 UDMA-E I Did Not Have Much Confidence in MRT And DFL In Samsung Drive Firmware Repairs [Always One Or Other Issue ] . Then i Was Suggested SHT By Spildit That To Me Seemed Very Nice [ But Since i Got PC 3000 UDMA-E Last To Last Month I Do Not Need That Even ] .I Also See a 8 Legged IC [ No 4496 Looks Like a Mosfet ] And a 2 Legged Component [ Line 1 Says 915 And Line 2 Says B240 ,It Looks Like a DIODE To Me ] . The Motor Controller Seems To Me Surrounded By a Lot Of Caps And resistors .I Have a Another PCB From Where i Can Take Out The Motor Controller And Replace The Defective One .I Can Also Change The Two 8 Pin And 2 Pin Components And Check The Surrounding Area .I Would Like To Know That if a Remove The Motor Controller And Check/Replace 8 Legged And 2 Legged Components [ If They Are Defective ] Can i Read The Inbuilt ROM In MCU Or We Need The Motor Controller in Board To Make The Board Go into Kernel Mode .I Also Say Some Great Discussion of Frank Regarding The Possiblity of JTAG + Fooling The Motor Controller .Can You Folks Point Me To The Right Direction .,Appreciate Any sort of help .
