What tools do you have at your disposal?
You should image that drive with a Hardware imager.

Try testing a few different locations of the drive.
If you can't read anything beyond the first red sector it's probably a translator issue. If you get some green blocks beyond the first red sector most likely 1 or more bad heads.

You can find a list of
Seagate Terminal Commands here, but before you start messing around with the translator, you should really do what was suggested and see if you can read any higher sector ranges. It's important to know if you're dealing with a translator issue or just bad sectors.

considering hard disk is very OLD , this type of ignorant experimentation may ruin data forever.
