if the data is important my advice would be to send it to a DR firm (not a computer repair shop)

+1

If you need to recover the data this is your only viable option.

Regards and good luck.

Absolutely nothing you can do yourself.

thankyou for the timely responses, i am not sure if this makes a difference but:
if i use MiniTool Partition Wizard Free it loads the hard drives for a long time and won't load but if i loosen then usb to the external 2tb hdd that is broken but not completely remove it, it shows up and i can "fix MBR" and use "explore partition" (it takes a long long time to "fix MBR") and when i explore partition it shows the director tree of my stuff... if i unplug it and plug it back in i have to fix the mbr again before i can see anything

does this change anything or is there still nothing i can do myself?

are you absolutely 100% sure that disk is spinning just fine and has no abnormal, clicking noise ?
can you record sound and upload here ?

honestly it is dangerous to play with disk which is dropped.
however i can assist you further to diagnose it if there is absolutely no abnormal noise.
