Hi everybody, I'm new to the board (and to hdd diagnostic in general)
Out of curiosity I installed crystal disk info, and found a "caution" label on a seagate 1TB drive.
First thing I backed up all the data, then run seatools Short Drive Self Test, which failed, with error "DBABDDEB"
After that I run hdtune long error scan, which found two red squares on the drive.
Yet HdTune considers the drive as healthy.
In my comprehension, all this means that there are 336 unrecoverable bad sectors on the drive. Is that a lot or not?
Should I try to fix/reallocate them (e.g. seatools FixAll procedure), or directly RMA it (the drive is still covered by warranty)?
Thank you, and sorry for the noob questions, I read a lot but couldn't make my mind up.
