program to undelete an acronis tib file

December 26th, 2015, 2:17

Hi,
I regularly backup my HD to external drive.
Of course, the last backup failed and my disk crashed.
Before doing backup (with acronis) i do a quick format to the external drive.
To my understanding, the previous backup (a 600 giga acronis tib file) should be present on the disk but none of the programs i have used detected it.
any suggestions for a recovery program to detect this kind of files?

Thanks in advanced,
Rafi.

R-studio has an option to create user defined file type.
