Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hi,
I have a Seagate Thin (ST500LT012) with head problems. Surfaces not damaged.
I replaced the heads already with 2 sets of heads from compatible donors:
Model number mach
Serial number: Match the second and third characters
Heads map: Match the physical heads map exactly.
Part number: Match the 1st half and 2nd half of the part number.
Site code: Match the site code
Date code: 6 months and 3 months difference
But heads continue without reading disk.
Any "special" features about these drives that I do not know?
Thanks,

By matching the site code, the first should be matched

Do the heads work fine back in their respective donors (both heads)?

Thanks for the suggestions.
Heads work fine back on the donor.
