WDC - New Drive Families [ Data Recovery Options ]

February 24th, 2016, 6:41

Hello All,
I Have Received a HDD WD10PURX-64D85Y0 .I can visibly see someone play around with the PCB .The portion where SATA connecter is there i see some work done on PCB . Does anyone have a clue what this drive family is D85 .I have another WD10PURX Drive " WDC WD10PURX-64E5EY0 " Thats Family TrailXLB . The ROM in The Patient Was Extracted By Elnec SmartProg2 Programmer -> http://www.elnec.com/en/products/univer ... martprog2/ And the Contents Are Attached .To Me It Looks As if Someone Has Changed The ROM Contents Or The PCB Board Itself .does Anyone Have ROM+Modules For This HDD " WD10PURX-64D85Y0 " .

Hi Everyone,
I Researched Myself And This is The Tresselb2 Family Not even Supported By PC 3000 UDMA/Express As Of Today .The complete Dump Of ROM "Yes i was Able To Grab The Original ROM " + Modules Etc Is Attached For Any-once Reference .The Patient Clicks When a Donor PCB And Original ROM is Used .Seems Like a Head Issue Should Not Be Common As This is Rated 24x7 Working Drive

PS : Attachment is 47MB "Please Suggest How To Attach "
