WD5000BMVV can't DE protected?

March 9th, 2016, 14:15

Hello every one ,I'm a new of DR .
I have a problem with a WD5000BMVV like this :
the head 0 was serious scratched .
I cut off the head 0 .
then the pc3000 can recognize the disk properly ,all the module is ok .
but it can't DE the other head and view the sector .
And in about a few minute it 's power off itself .
I change the head map in the RAM (1 1 2 3), it's not power off but still can not DE。
I want to know if it's protected when it find one head was damaged ?
anyone who know about this tell me please...!
(sorry for my poor english :) )
