Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello,
I am a newbie so I will post as much information as possible. I have WD20NMVW-11W68S0 external HDD which got water drops spillage and could not power on anymore (no white led). It used to show on the computer as 2 partitions: the 2TB drive HDD, and the virtual drive which contains the WD Unlocker software.
I decided to do a PCB replacement so I ordered for one with the same specs. I did the replacement of the 2 eeproms (see attached photos). The driver can now power correctly. The problem is, the WD unlocker virtual drive is not showing anywhere. The HDD is showing as an unmounted drive (I guess still locked and cannot mount??). Kindly assist on how to repair. Thanks.
Ps. Could anyone conversant with this PCB also highlight the component that could have been damaged by the water drops?

is drive smartware locked ?

Yes, when it was working I had to put a password in the WD Unlocker software in the virtual drive for the 2TB drive to be readable.

From the image, it seems clear that he replaced the PCB with another USB one. Both were PCB number 771801.
