March 12th, 2016, 17:38

Hello,
I have WD 2TB harddisk for 1year,suddenly he stopped to work before one day,it's started when i tried to enter the drive from "my-computer" and it's not showed the drive information, and cant enter it.
then my computer restarted and it's took like 15-20 before my computer entered to windows, and i dont saw this HDD anymore [drive E]
i opened the computer, and the HDD doing strange sound like old modem that trying to connect but not success.
i disconnected this HDD and the computer works good again like before, but if i'm connecting the HDD again, the computer freeze and self-restarting and not uploading again..

what is the problem, and what i can do?

is your drive visible in BIOS with correct Model and Capacity ?

the best and safe thing is to try to clone your disk with ddrescue, if data is important better send it to DR company with proper tool and knowledge.

good luck.
