Does anyone know what FS and what file format is been used in hikvision DVR ?

Can you post a binary file dump of the first 1,000 hdd sectors ?
(Wh, DD, whathever tool suits you)

there is a format converter on this page that may lead to some answers:

possibly look through this software for copyright stuff or nuggets that say what format. looks like at least some of it uses fat32

@-BR- there is nothing in the first 1K sectors except for sector 1 and 2, everything else is filled with 0x00
regarding sector 1 and 2, will post it later.

@ HaQue, I know about the format converter, but I don't know what's the initial file type format.

@MindMergepk, nothing to post, sector 0 is filled with 0x00

Hikvision uses hikfat filesystem which is supported by DVRexaminer
