This is a seagate platter 2tb, do you think there is a possibility of recovery if we replace the heads? or are we toast?

Hey crobison,
You can try it, but first you will need to clean heads.
For that you need a vacuum cleaner process, it's costly to do so, but chances of recovery are decent.
