Refurbished Seagate HDD

April 27th, 2016, 4:49

As i seen on market, there are lot of seagate HDD with "Refurbished" label, what is the factory doing to produce this refurbished labeled HDD ?

Are they reassemble the returned RMA drives ? how long the drive should be working ?

could be anything from a drive not passing a test, to mislabelling. Anything any of us says is speculation as unless we worked in the company, they are not going to tell.

Personally I stay away from refurbished drives. If you RMA a drive there is a good chance you will get a refurbished drive as a replacement though.

What are you doing buying Seagate in the first place???? Silly boy
