Translator regeneration,Error "Maximam defect chain length"

Im facing this problem with segate drive..


Model : ST9500325AS
Serial : 6VEQHHPE
Firmware : 0002BSM1
Capacity : 465.76 GB (976 773 168)

Im using PC-3K UDMA

I was trying Translator Regeneration, which technique I used some time succefully.. but with this perticular drive got this Error
--> "Maximal defect chain length is reached!"

Find log Entry below..

--- Can anybody tell me how to proceed in this situation ? I already tried increasing length in option box, but every time getting same error..

I'm not saying this will solve your problem, but to answer your question, set max length to "0" for "unlimited."
