Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts
Hey! So i've had a Seagate HD Barracuda, model ST2000Dm001 FW: CC44. When I plug it to computer throught a usb-sata connector Windows is installing drivers but i can't see the drive in Computer section. DMDE see it but it is working really slow and it doesnt read sectors (can't create a sector copy). I bought myself a USB terminal for Tx and Rx pins nad this is what i see in a terminal program. Can anyone help me?
It shows the characters but sometimes it stops. Then i pres Ctrl + Z and it goes again.
