hi guys,

by any chance , someone knows the head map of this model ?
the family is Tresselb

If I'm not mistaken these are one-platter drives with 500GB per surface.
So it should use only one head, ergo head map is either 0 or 1.

thats what i thought , but cant read anything from the drive
drive gets ready , correct id but reads nothing

it was the first thing that I tried.nothing changed. will go for head replacement

Doesn't ROM module 0x0A contain the head map?

If you are unsure of the head map of the donor, why not go for a 1TB donor instead?
