Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello everybody,
I have a (big for me) problem with a hard drive with GPT and UFS2 formated partition from Nas4free.
I made the mistake to boot my server with Parted Magic distro and after reboot to Nas4free the drive won't mount.
I made a dd from disk and tryed : mount -r -t ufs -o ufstype=ufs2,ro /dev/ada2 /mnt/ufs without success.
I hope this problem will be ridiculously simple for a clever user.
Thanks a lot in advance
Chris

You can use DMDE to look GPT structures are fine and if not you can try to repair them. Or you can use UFS explorer to copy data from drive.

Try running test disk through terminal in Linux. Its very good at recovering damaged NAS partitions.
What errors are you getting after trying to mount the partition through terminal?
