Do you think you are going to just buy the tools and suddenly have everything you need to do data recovery? Not the case. I can only assume that you intend to hire an experienced lab technician who already knows how to use the tools. So, it would be best to ask him what tools he'd prefer you buy.

Yes, contrary to popular belief there is no "push button", automatic data recovery solution. The entire business revolves around knowledge of how drives work, how to fix them, and reverse engineering. It'd likely be a waste of your money to buy expensive tools like PC-3000 if you have no experience in the business. You'd have no idea what to do with the tool anyway.

Hi,
Am working in Data recovery field for Last 4 years.
The only thing missing was Head & platter replacement knowledge, which is already started practicing after successful completion of advanced data recovery training at Dolphin Data Lab.

Now we are planning to setup a data recovery center with all latest technologies available in the market.
For this I would require your kind suggestions on getting proper tools & technologies.

We have decided to go for PC3000 & HDDSurgery tools. But need your inputs as you all are in experts and being in this field for more than 10 yeras.

Thanks.
