This thred has for purpose to reference all known external USB drives (either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0) that have a drive with a SATA connector inside, i.e. which have a SATA to USB adapter inside the enclosure (not like WD Elements for instance where the USB is soldered directly to the drive PCB).
Please send me a personal message with:
- enclosure (brand, familiar name, model)
- connection type (USB 2.0 or USB 3.0)
- SATA drive inside (brand and model)
During my free time, I'll try to update this list with the known models.
Or feel free posting directly in the thread if I take too much time updating the list.
