Hello,
I'm having some serios problems with a WD400JB HDD.
First of all, it gets detected very slow and it's no longer labeled WDC400JB, instead it says WDC ROM MODEL MATOOTH 13.03G13
Secondly I can't do anything to the drive. I can't format it, it can't restore the partiton table, I can't restore the MBR.
Is there anything that could be done to restore this drive back to its original state ? I was wondering if rewriting the firmware with the ogirinal one might help.
