Looking for hot-swappable RAID enclosure for OS

September 2nd, 2016, 9:55

Hi Everyone

I don't know if such a thing exists but I would be very grateful if anyone here could let be know if an external USB double SATA enclosure exists which satisfies the following two criteria:

1. A bootable copy of any Windows OS can run on it.

2. If the OS is on a mirrored RAID array in the enclosure then one of the two hard drives can be removed without shutting down the OS.

Thank you very much.

Kind regards

Tim
