December 28th, 2016, 21:30

Hi guys, I would help me with the problem... My hdd is a USB 3.0 model but I've opened it

Now I have a ST2000DM001 hdd with badsector, but in a progress trying of repair it, I use dd /dev/zero in linux and I wasn't careful, I think that I've putted zeros in the head data of the hdd and therefore I've finished damaging it T_T ...

My board is asus vii hero, when I try connect this hdd in sata mode, cant read (linux, windows).. but when I try use with usb 2.0 windows can recognized it, the problem is that in all scan the hdd put turn off repentantly..

Note:
In 3.0 cant connect, Even exchanging options like xhci SMART or disable, or ahci hangoff enable ... etc etc

Now I've tried connect trough of uart USB connection, put when i get the COM the putty shows me

Code:
fail servo op=0100 resp=0003
..................

Could anyone help me with it please? Thank you very much. :D

Sorry, it's kind of difficult to find out what are you trying to say.

If it's not being recognized SATA connected, but is recognized via USB it is only because the computer is seeing the USB bridge chip.

As to your terminal output, that looks like it's related to bad read / write heads.
