Hi,
I'm seeing all your efforts to explain people why has the code in the utility, and I think that they do not understand that your intention is to help people to help themselfs.
There is an irishi guy here that says this "do not traine them, you are loosing your time"
I think that people do not want to learn, they only want a magic wang.
But anyhow there is many that gott your ideia.

I will continue to do this as I will see that I'm not loosing my time. I hope this will teach people to read docs, to be more careful.

Pleased to see this topic! Would like to add:
Not just cracks for MHDD, but all other cracks, and posts offering unauthorized and illegal manuals, etc. I wish people start being a bit more legal.

Be aware of scam that sell PC-3000 and HRT from China and other unothorized places. Acelab has only two authorized partners who are legally distribute the software and the hardware. This info can be found on acelab website.
The cracked version of PC-3000 does not provide you with a 100% of its functionality. These cards have been compared by many people/companies already. The biggest problem is that PC-3000 is constantly updating and you wont get the updates for your cracked product. Acelab is the only place that distributes updates and acelab will not give the updates to people who have the cracked version of their product.
Yes, the most important part - PC-3000 has a serial number, and the updates are being compiled for each specific card/serial number.
Another point is that PC-3000 card uses vendor specific commands and therefore "talks" to the bad drives better than any other controller that uses a standard set of ATA commands. You might find a cracked version of PC3K software and fix just some drive, where if you get a proper product with the proper "original" card - you have more chances of fixing more drives, as in many cases you will notice that PC-3000 talks to the drives that can not be seen by regular controllers.
For last 2 months I have been researching a lot about data recovery technology and now I understand why people buy this cheap crap from China and then spend more money and purchase the proper product made by acelab.
P.S. And no, I am not an agent of AceLab. I just use PC-3000 and I learnt a lot since we bought it.
