Does anyone know if this PCB has an overvoltage protection chip? It has no power.
ROM is masked as well

that looks more like a tvs. It has masked ROM (as almost every controller), but there is a serial flashchip near the DRAM, it is marked 25S81.

Did you test A1 as a fuse or as a diode? If it checked OK as a fuse, ie zero ohms, then the TVS diode is shorted. That said, a shorted diode would shut down your PSU.

Sounds like you're in a similar situation as me. The FireCuda 2.5" SSHD drives seem to have a very high failure rate (~20% or more based on non-scientific analysis of amazon reviews) within first 2 years.
It's likely that your pcb is not totally dead but that the NAND chip is not responding which causes the board to sit in a boot loop and appear powerless. If you attach a UART to the diagnostic port, you will likely see the drive cycling through it's startup sequence. It never gets far enough to spin the platter but the platter should be just fine.
