Hello, trying to get a donor for WD30EZRX-00D8PV0. Heads needed. Didn't find an exact match so would like to ask if you guys have experience using WD RED heads in Green series etc. There are tons of WD Green, from Dragon, Caviar to Diablo S3. This one is Diablo S3. Before i open WD RED (Diablo S3) with maching DCM maybe someone can tell if there is a chance they will fit. The only thing that does not match is country. I know that the best way is to open it but it would be a waiste of a good drive with warranty.

The color on the label has nothing to do with compatibility.
You need to match certain criteria for compatibility of heads, and not label color. Start by matching family and head map. Do you have pc3k?

That's what i was looking for. That those drives can be the same and have the same components.
