Hi,
my WD5000AAVS from an old WD my book world, restarts after trying to mount each time.
Detailed:
- hdd starts normal
- hdd tried to mount on my debian via usb, I see the device for milliseconds in file explorer
- after that hdd restarts
- this is repeated continuously
What did I do:
- tried with docking station and USB
- tried to connect directly on pc mainboard
- different power supply's
Who can give me a hint for the issue? Can this be repaired by a PCB (+Bios swap) exchange?
Thanks, for all help!

Thanks for the quick reply!
There are not so important data, but it would be nice to get it.
I connected the hdd to the SATA port with the same behavior.
How can I access the hdd, if always the hdd restarts?
