But I want to repair drive, look in your country maybe not worth to repair drives but in mine its really worth to repair drives.

Do you have any sort of firmware tool to play with the drive firmware ? At least something like SeDiv or SHTR ?

Did you check PCB ? Did you check if there are other problems like junky PSU ?

Does the drive click or make strange noises ? When you power on the drive do you ear the heads moving to read MC ? DO NOT OPEN THE DRIVE ...

etc .. etc ....

More info would be required.

Register status show what ? BSY ? Error ?

Can you enter terminal commands like pressing ESC ?

Do you have identical model to hot swap ?

Can you test MC with MRT ? Can you access MC and backup modules and ROM with MRT or drive is stuck at BSY, etc ?

In terminal ONLY DBG mode, and no any other access
