Maxtor 6Y060L all ok but... no reads

Hi everybody,

received a Maxtor 6Y060. No bios. Open in PC3K, recognised without loading LDR going directly to standard mode. Checking modules, found GLIST absent. Loaded a GLIST module, fixed it...

OK, disk recognised by bios but... no reads !

Any idea ? Did I after holidays forget some rule ?

I have a Maxtor 60 Gig 6y060L (6y060L0620401). The curcuit board is dead but the body is good. I am interested in your drive for the curcuit board on it. my email is Stephen123@dslextreme.com.
