The CAPSAre Correct s You Figured Them Out ,But By Converting To SATA The Only Benefit Would Be Better Control Over Drive ,You Cannot Read FW Or Make a Head MAP ,But Head Replacement Works Fine In These Models

You are of course correct Amarbir, after a head swap I always prefer SATA to USB. Although the control you get is limited with these drives, it is a little more flexible. I also understand that some matching SATA boards are not compatible. So until we know more about this drive family, I prefer to convert the USB board.
