Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello all!
Quick question. The IBM error register can contain a diagnostic code instead of the usual bit switches if there is an error after a POR, hard reset or soft reset. Does MHDD display the hex or decimal representation of the error register? Is there a utility that does this? Where would this be displayed?
Thanks in advance!

Additionally, this is stored in hardware Little-Endian. Does MHDD transpose to Big-Endian or is it left little?

Never mind!!! Figured it out. I'm sure you all know this already, but the numbers to the left and right of the status and error registers are the numeric value. They are displayed in native format or little-endian for IBM and Hitachi. They are hex. Now I have to figure out what the error code is that I am receiving. It is not listed.
Thank you anyway!
