Just to let you know guys,,

Bought this 6tb for one of my clients to transfer his recovered data to it,

really don`t know who is the silly idiot in WD Team who recommended that:

"You cannot use the unit unless you download the WD Discovery Tool and Sign-in and use it" >> it creates a Virtual Letter mapped to Desktop

The unit takes the IP from your router (DHCP) but you cannot change/modify it, there is NO USERS/Permissions/Config.... blah blah

to cut it short,,,,,, You cannot Operate the Unit without the WD Discovery Tool

I ended up taking the hdd out of the damn box, and use it outside.... really bad
