July 15th, 2019, 10:34

I have a hard disk Samsung HD322HJ. It has no spinup. When i plugged in to sata power cable. Marvel Chip got hot. I can't find same model and pcb version hard disk anywhere.
Can reballing the marvel chip solve my problem? will it re spinup again? please help me.

Thanks.

I'm not a fortune-teller but most probably will not work.

Measure the resistance between each of the 4R7 coils and ground.

4R7 Measure is in power mode 20V is 0.006 and 0.15

I don't think he has a problem with it.
Your problem is more likely to be Heads stuck

The resistance should be measured with the power off. It is not clear what you were measuring.

If those are the voltage readings when the PCB is powered up, then something is wrong. If you are measuring the voltages across each coil, then those readings are OK. However, you should be measuring the voltages, or resistances, between the coil and ground.
