Hi,

Have been look for a donor heads for the Toshiba 1TB DT01ACA100.
A bit of google tells me (These are relabeled Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000)

Got hold of a new Toshiba 1TB HDWD110

A bit of google tells me (These are rebadged cache-doubled versions of equivalent DT01ACAxxx models.)

Both are single platter 2 head drives, with the help of google (disctech). The drives look identical except for the new model number, but that said the HDWD110 sports the DT01ACA100 model number on the sticker at the bottom.

I am wondering whether the HDWD110 heads can be used as donor heads for the DT01ACA100 ?

If anyone has any pointers, much appreciated. Someone please .. ?

Thanks,
Manu
