2) He just scrub with the broken head-assambly some particles off - in my opinion it looks quite rough to me.
You can really handle platters that way?
The machine looks like the APEX Platter Extractor but i where thinking that can be used only for drives with one platter...

... I see - looks like for some drives the alignment is not important but how to check if it is or not? Is there a complete list or do I need to find it out on my own?

Are there some Books or Videocourses which you could recommand me? I found one from Scott Moulton (myharddrivedied.com) but if the videos are the same as on youtube i am affraid I will not learn much...
