ST1000LM035 to be repaired or not to be repaired

April 19th, 2020, 12:58

Hi,
another user with that crappy hard drive, yeah even lenovo used them in their expensive P series :puke:

Was installed as 2nd drive álias data grave and was working for around 2 years til problems began with 2102: detection error on HDD
Removed from laptop and put into external housing the HDD will be sometimes recognized by Win 10 with error message while file structure is still visible in explorer but can't copy any files...

Based on these very few facts did it make sense to send it over to a lab or sounds more like waste of time ?

Should be pretty straightforward for any decent lab.

Try these guys...
