PC3000 Portable III

Thanks Acelab for making technology conference online.
Though Portable III has many advanced features I feel it cant be a replacement for Full In lab recovery Unit which must be a Robust Desktop having multiple ports and rugged design. While Portable is best suited for On site imaging or diagnostics.
Touch screen display is great but it must be having limited life and unit will be non repairable . A DR device must be Rugged industrial grade hardware than a touch screen type filmsy design. What you guys think

I would expect that the unit would have some kind of internal or embedded flash storage, eg a small SSD, in which case I'd be more worried about that failing than the touchscreen. Ask Ace Lab what they would do in such cases. Could you back up the contents in some way so that you could protect your investment?

Thank you for watching our online Conference!

The PC-3000 Portable III is a fully functional universal data recovery solution that can be used both for diagnostics/imaging and complete work in the lab. To cover all tasks, the tool has 3 modes: Standalone Mode, Easy Mode, and Full-Featured Mode.

Because with the Standalone Mode you don't need a host computer, the screen is required to check what's happening during your work with the drive. And this isn't a "touch screen". Touch screens are not suited for the field-job, especially at low temperatures or other conditions when you have to use gloves.

The whole tool is made out of the best components. But if whatever happens to the screen, it might be replaced. Of course, no high-end device tolerates mistreatment, and no one should intentionally damage it. But you can rest assured that the PC-3000 Portable III is a very reliable tool to cover your lab's needs.
